Has anyone got this? Is it any good? Im thinking about buying it when i can get my discount but some people say its really bad but others are saying its better than COD
Opinions?

From reviews I have read the single player lacks depth but the multiplayer makes up for this, so it depends on what purpose you are buying it for. I have always preferred BF to COD but COD just seems to be better online. The new engine for BF3 looks amazing, photo-realism at it's best.

Well i always enjoy the campaign on COD but theres just something about the online play that i just dont enjoy as much as i could but theres not much else out there that compares to COD online so if BF3 makes up for the online but lacks the campaign then i think im gonna go try it and if i dont like it, sell it on/trade it in i guess.

Main issue is the servers don't work yet so online is a proper fart on, played single player for 10 mins...thought oh god not COD again....tbh FPS aren't floating my boat atm, although online it really does have its' moments when it works and you've unlocked good weapons its very very good however when you first play it it is frustrating as all hell...

Well played the single player again, and revised my opinion better than any recent cod single player i've played, and online now works ish too. I prefer BF online (and always have) because it rewards playing as team not as a camping mofo in the corner which is always to be applauded.

I completed the campaign and it was pretty good but i still prefer COD so im trading this in and using the money i get for this towards COD. The online play is just way to easy for me and im not exactly a pro

My issue with Cod is I still hold that the series peaked at Cod 4 mw awesome single player and brilliant mulitplayer...anything since then is just not right :p Yes you get more options you make your gun have a picture of a naked lady on it, you can put a sight on it and a silencer, but I prefered the times when you had one attachment and lived with it....there was nothing more satisfying gaming wise than countersniping a camper in the head with a silenced G3 from half the map away.

However rolling up to enemy position in a tank and blowing the bejesus out of it in a tank on BF is a close second especially when supported by your mates, one on the MG and the others providing fire support/vehicle repair around you, A situation cod just cannot replicate.
Another thing I like is for example seine crossing map, if it was a cod map it would just start as a damaged city with piles of rubble in the streets, on BF you start with a pristine city and make the rubble yourself...

BF3 multiplayer gameplay is so immensive that it's hard to stop playing once you get your hands on it. I just love the vehicles' handling, it feels great to drive around and demolish everything within your sight range.

Got the armoured kill add on pack today....the levels are truly huge. I like my tank warfare, for which it adds more fun and it has new vehicles, however on foot its a bit ridiculous, can actually take 10 mins to run somewhere...

I have premium so had it for a while and i agree if you dont have a vehicle it is silly to run anywhere.

good fun though specially on rush where it isn't so bad without a vehicle

I went premium recently tbf, although not tried close quarters yet and bought Karkand Seperately, mainly because I didn't fancy playing cod, however when i'm bored of blowing stuff up in tanks i'll get round to it.

close quarters the destructive scenery is amazing.

havent played loads of karkand but i like the jets on it

Gave Ziba tower a quick blast and that is pretty awesome actually, once you've adopted cod stance, put your suppressor on its good fun playing conquest domination.
