Soooo, anyone on here play with it?

It was my son who started playing it - I then purchased him a beta account - and then I decided to get one myself!

Lo and behold, I am now running a dedi server for up to 8 players, currently running CraftBukkit and a few mods and 3 worlds! I love it

We tend to play on Creative mod. The latest 1.8.1 was a major release and a massive upgrade from 1.7.3 - version 1.9 will also be big, and hopefully it will go retail at some point. It seems so simple yet so addictive

Well if you try the Classic version - it is nothing like the new beta...

...but it is worth a shot before shelling out €15 or so

True - although it is only a one time hit plus you get all the updates

I don't have the time either hah, but my 8 y/o son loves it and it is a good way to chat to him

If you don't have an account, then you will only be able to use the very old classic version.

The difference between that and the latest beta is vast!!

As for running it - anything will do! I tend to use it from the .exe file and not in-browser.

And this map has been generated via the new update; the township was already there but we have made a massive TNT blast hole

It does the job - badly... lol! 1.8.x was a major improvement, 1.9 is going to be even better.
