Gran Turismo 5

Currently reading:
Gran Turismo 5

I've got a Ferrari 330P4, and i'm currently level 28.

spend a lot of time just messing about though, just driving whether it's races online, 'drifting' online, and also i've got a pretty cool track i made which is like driving down country roads which is quite a relaxing drive to try and set a new lap record in the dark on.

I'm currently doing a course at uni on automotive eng and motorsport so im doing suspension, engine mods, remaps etc

so i did some of thses mods on my lambo and got it to go around corners Very well indeed(y)
I have been tinkering with aligning the suspension for inverse camber and er.. tilt etc (basically reading the info and trying to adjust based on what the info advises me)... not sure how far this goes though, because I can't guarentee that me adjusting the angle of the tyres is better or WORSE for the car! Thats where your info would be usefull :D

new update gives several more options.

multi monitor feature means you can have 3 or 5 screens set up so you can look around you. unfortunately you need the same number of ps3s and copies of gt5 as tellys!!

also you can now change gear ratios individually, add ballast, and also limit power. so online racing can be made closer as cars can be detuned and weighted to meet regs.

Almost makes it worth going though all the effort to get the ps3 online again:p

The additional changes I have noticed in the latest update that I downloaded last night are:
1) PEACH coloured "NEW" detail in the Used Car's section, so now you can clearly see the newest cars added
2) Each race begin's with your car in motion after a short clip of all the competitors cars and yours. (Don't quote me on this, this is what I have noticed in the Level 21+ races in A-Spec Expert and Extreme last night... It may be different in other races I don't know)
3) It has asked me, an average of Three times, whether I wish to sign into the PlayStation Network or not, when you turn on the PS3 and start GT5 up.

Out of the total list of cars in the game only 200 are "Prestige" which means they have lots of HD detail, all the other cars have standard res.

Anyone still playing this? I'm trying to collect all the 500s at the moment. The Beige/Yellow are both Premium 500Fs, the blue is a Standard 500R (it's tune-able to 115bhp, quicker than the Fs, but they get aero, so are quicker through the turns. Way more fun than I expected, I spend more time driving these than any of the exotica!
