It should of been available now but they underestimated how many people would use it so hadnt built in enough capacity for it so they are having to rejig it a bit.

I believe it was actually Sky that had the issue. The web based Sky Player was also down yesterday.

i can see the point for not needing a 2nd sky box in a bedroom(i assume that works?)
but as a non sky subscriber then theres no way i would be paying for it on xbox

Yeah if your firmly in camp "virgin" its no good too you.
I just like playin all my mp3's off my computer through my xbox and surround sound, and viewing videos through it too, watching sky through it now just means i can do everything though it now!
Just wish it'd ****ing work!
Sky should be later this month so is facebook, twitter etc

Well finally downloaded it, but been told to get full access i need to subscribe to 20mb broadband or multiroom.
... would be good if i didn't live in a one bedroom apartment with 4mb phone line, a lot of bleedin' use those would be!

Just live sky news and sky news on demand, but if i up my broadband or get multiroom i get all sky channels live and on demand.

I had a quick look and the quality is very clear.
Glad he didnt need a BT line or any Sky products to get it.
Wonder if at some point it will go HD?
