Pretty cool video which shows 4 things, first they've improved the graphics, second Gran turismo fanboys can no longer hold onto the cockpit view as inalieable proof that GT is better, Third there are new tracks as that one isn't off 1 or 2 and fourth there are new manufacturers (50+ and 400+ cars this time round note the alfa 8c in the vid)

Polyphony better pull their fingers out otherwise they will have managed to release precisely zero full games in the time Turn 10 have released 2. Its not like turn 10 are hurrying either last one was in 2007!

Wonder if there will be a new wheel coming out with a H shifter for this?
Should be a good game screen shots look promising. Just hope they don't mess the handling up like sony did with GT5 prologue

I dont like Forza... PGR FTMFW :slayer:

I have both...one of them has not been played in 12 months and is only still in my possession because it fell in the boot of the car when I went to trade a bag of games in. That one is PGR...pretty as anything but very shallow imho got bored of it quickly.

New Forza is going to have a new uber-training wheels mode for those who found the old one too hard...and presumably find opening curtains difficult. TBF I wish they'd tell the need for speed players to do one sick of playing online against people who think they rock because they drive a car with all the assists on...then ram you when you beat them...

2010's GT will blow this out of the water.
Forza was ok but for realism it was no gt5p

When GT5 arrives we'll see but tbf if its anything like prologue its going to be a dull game with poor sound effects...when you can tell the difference between different front drive cars on GT i'll believe people who claim its a sim. On Forza if you drive a Golf GTI it handles different to a Focus ST on GT5P all the FF cars handle the same the only difference is the speed.

i thought GT5 prologue was fairly realistic, different FWD cars do handle differently or at least the ones i've driven which to be fair isn't many GT5 better be good though considering how long it's taking them! doubt it though lol.:(

Another Forza vid....shows a few more things game now has fully working mirrors..also its the first full sim game with damage and a significant number licensed street cars that allows rollovers.

It's been a while since I saw GT5 running but thats gotta be getting pretty close in graphical quality...which is unfortunate for sony as it was the only thing GT had going for it.

I definately think Forza is the best. Also, it has been mentioned that on Forza 3 you will be able to see actual wear on the tires and they will realisticly blow when you run out of grip.

That video looks phenomenal. Apparently it will run upscaled 1080p@60fps also.

Hardly play games any more but this is definately one to buy :D

Been surfing about the web finding things out as is my job and tbf my interest as Forza 2 is still my favourite racing game of all time...

First SUVs are in...for me thats not a positive step. Although will be interesting to compare them to proper cars in a racing situation.
Second the number of people who say 400 cars is not enough is hilarious...ok it isn't enough using the GT method of populating a model list. That Game had 100 cars if you only took Skylines Evos and Imprezas into account. But when you include cars such as a corsa 1.4 comfort and every other model in the range as seperate cars (as seen in GT4 along with those well known track cars the ford model t the VW beetle and the panda 1000)...well you do open yourself to accusations of including a bit of filler.
Third..microsoft are over hyping the thing a fair bit..
Fourth...it supports steering wheels with H pattern 6 speed boxes and clutch pedals.
Fifth it has tyre deformation...(if you don't know about the relevance of this don't worry about it)
