Not that i actually own a nintendo Wii....yet lol

Anyone got any stories to tell regarding the wii consoles and games?

My mate bought his round yesterday and he stuck the wii sports on. Ive now got achy arms pretty bad today and i broke my light bulb :D
I enjoyed the bowling game but i think i did my arms in by doing the boxing! Oh yes it was fun knocking the other 'bloke' out hahaha

I reccommend it to anyone who wants to take their anger out on someone (y) just make sure you keep the dog out the way or they think your playing with them and end up getting knocked out :p

Well as i mentioned in another thread, My sister hit the dog across the head! Its was like a scene from Rocky! The dog was chasing the Wii remote (thinking it was a ball) and got a bit too close, next we know the dog has had wack across the head and there was dribble shooting across the room in slow motion like in the rocky films - it was soooooo funny!!!
And myself and my sister have both pulled muscles in our arm playing wii sports

Agree with Smash bros and Mariokart.

I want TW09 and PES is meant to be good on it.

On the injury front, I hit myself in the face doing the long jump on Mario and Sonic at the olympics.

I've hit myself in the face a few times.

When we first got it I was plaing it for 5 hours a day on Wii Sports, my arms where killing me after a while .

Mate has dented his roof when he didn't have the strap on

hey, hmmmm well fell over a few times on the wii fit trying to do some of them yoga thingys  shouted at the tv alot, erm played mario kart wii was first til the home straight then forgetting the controller was motion sensitive i lifted the remot in my hand to claim victory and poor yoshi hit a wall  just boxed mine up now though :( put it on ebay to get some money for my hols next year

wii fit is good.
wii sports
Smooth moves is a very good and funny game to play
mario karts im addicted to at the moment
all the rayman raving rabbids are good

call of duty and all games like that are better on the wii then any other consol (imho) aslong as you have a wii zapper (a plastic thing that you slot the wii remote and nunchuk into and it makes it into a sorta gun) as its alot more relistic and the controls are dead on and fast

Do you need a silicon mat for the wii fit?

Is it recommended I mean?

not sure really. I dont see how it can help? maybe if you had wood floor and your feet kept slipping?

Oh I forgot to mention
Nintendo are giving away free Silicon jackets for the wii remotes. they bulk it out a bit and its made alot softer. feels much better to hold and wont cause as much damage (to the house or the remote!)

heres the link

for some reason i could only get 3 (must be cos my wii came with one) but only came in a few days :D

playing tennis on it yesterday, and the dog thought i was teasing him by not throwing the controller for him, so he jumped up and bit my hand, luckily not too hard. he's getting used to it now though.

it's good thing he's a great big softie, well not really that big but fairly soft so when he gets flesh he stops biting, usually lol.

have to head down to blockbuster and rent some games, we only have wii play and sports which are reminiscent of old ps1 or even mega drive, snes, nes etc in length! lol
