who else is participating in the beta?

also for those wanting to know about it. its like the sims except the people are real people and not computer controlled, the cinema is great and generally it is a brilliant game other than for the lack of players (due to beta) and that there isnt much to do yet (also due to beta)

sony send you an email asking you if you wish to participate, which comes with a redeem code.

you then redeem the code by going onto your ps3 onto account settings then redeem code.

you type in the code it takes you to a download page and you download it.

I was sent a Beta code by playstation but gave it my friend because im spending my time on the car.

The home thing appeared on my ps3 today but its pretty good fun, shame you have to pay for everything, but there must be other ways somehow. i've piled all my furniture in my apartment in a heap on the balcony lol.

I gave my friend the beta code because im busy on the car, but home apeared on my ps3 a few days ago.

Its cool but you have to pay real money for virtual crap and this makes me very sad

pretty much how it seems, the novelty is wearing off as i don't fancy spending loads, if it doesn't cost much to have a club i may start one £3.99 at the moment but it'll charge per month from march i'd imagine it'll get better with time as more things are available.

I get as far as the signing in screen, and then get "Connection to the server was lost, error code C103" So I have yet to explore it yet!!

Been like that all day today, wow £3.99 to have a club that sucks and monthly charges I dont own an xbox for god sake.

I thought they would let you spend gamer points or something.

Anyway there is no way in hell im paying for that type of thing.

mine was like that first of all, but left it a while and then it worked.

I didnt email off just kept trying and let me in lol

I installed it. Then looked at how much space it was taking up on my hdd, played it for a lil bit then deleted it as I needed the space!!! A bit pointless in my opinion!

Ive put a 320gb HDD in mine 40GB is too small if you have a few games its gone in no time
