...... i have some tiny white bugs that crawl over my screens, they seem to come out of teh edge of the screen - i googled and noticed someone else had the problem but no response as to a possible solution.
Anyone else had this problem? It's really weird that my DS is infestated with insects!

They're probably dust mites, my friends GameBoy Advance had the same problem, had to pull it apart to clean it out.

Maybe it is a bug?

They shouldn't create an electrical short or anything, the life cycle is about 5 weeks; depends if your particuarly bothered by it or not. I take it they are on the bottom screen of the 2?

well crawling over both screens really, they seem to come out of the sides of the screens. Not hundreds but quite a few at a time.

The top and bottom have the screen mount supports on them if they are like the GBA so that makes sense, never pulled a DS apart but leaving them SHOULDN'T do any harm, doesn't mean they can't though (I just aren't aware of any they can do )

I noticed the same thing last night - little tiny white mites!! I have been paranoid all day about it, will it infect other things? and are they definitely dust mites? and WHY???

to kill off dust mites in a pillow, stick it in a bag and then into the freezer for two hours, i'd imagine the same can be done with one of these, though you'd have to ensure it slowly cools down, and the slowly warms back up before turning on.

i'd also take the battery out to be sure. be very carefull. someone else would probably be more use.

not easily, exactly where would you put the hoover to get enough suction all the way through the device, or would you rather crack it open and hope you don't damage anything if you slip with the nozzle?

I dunno, jut sook around the edges of the screen?

Theres obviously enough room for them to come out, so surely it woudnt take too much suction to sook them out?
