Hey all,

gamestation are selling the HD player new with 2 HD DVD's for 24.99 their selling the DVD's 14.99 each on their own.

is it worth investing in one or will HD DVD's be killed off soon??

its dead, however if your happy to make use of it in the meantime...........
then you get HD films for pennys!
matrix boxset for under £30
5 harry potter films for under £25
etc etc
if like me you have no interest in blowing big money on blueray just now then make hay for now
hell they still sell betamax on ebay for more than i paid for my HD DVD drive
£13 posted from germany if you want to know ;)

have seen some rumours of companys considering releases on HD DVD even still with an installed userbase

Might be worth it though, why pay £22 for a film on BluRay when it may be possible to get it for £12!!

I'd say go for it, when they're gone, they're gone!!

shop around and buy cheap for now
then go blue ray when the costs drop

Thats exactly what i'm doing mate, buying them up cheap - why not? it's still a high def film, I can still watch it... as soon as / if they ever make a blu-ray add on for the 360, then i'll start buying them instead.
