Well here's an interesting addition to the dilemma.
I tried both games with the force feedback wheel, CMD is good once you get the wheel set up correct in the control options which iirc is just a case of putting the slider for steering saturation all the way to the right, so instead of the default 80% it goes up to 100%. It makes cornering more precise and stops over steering making it more like being in the real car.
It is a lot of fun with the rally cars and is actually hard work but when it comes to driving those buggies you may want to forget about using the wheel, it's extremely hard and you have to be so gentle with the movement.
As for Forza with the wheel, all I can say is, WOW
Bloody brilliant, extremely precise and loads more fun than the pad, cornering is just perfect with loads of realism especially on fast corners. The first time I played it with the wheel, I got knocked off on the start straight, turned around and basically had to start from the back after that, but I managed to catch up the pack and overtake the first car on the last corner to take first place :slayer: Perfect driving lines are so much more possible with the wheel
I am deffo getting both games now.
