Thread will be updated tomorrow, all being good the Alfa will get its first proper clean in my ownership.

It's been a wee while since I've bothered to any level with the cars. The van was simply a workhorse that never went any further, the Panda had a couple of good cleans but I dont think even it got as far as polish or wax. The fleet motors were taken to the drive through, so yeh...it's been a while.

So...day off today. Set the alarm for the usual time, picked up some cheap polish and a chamois early doors. Set to work on the 147 at 9am sharp





Ive run dirtier cars without a doubt. But the idea is to try and keep the Alfa clean

First of all it was out with the muck remove...a little sprayed onto the car to give the dirt a head start






Car was de-miucked, washed and then de mucked again and washed one last time.







Polish was just Turtlewax stuff from ASDA and nothing funcy,

Wax was a tub of Simoniz and was easier than thought - just had to make sure it didn't set, think its ok though.

So, to recap, today I've;

Washed the car x 2
Polished the car with Turtlewax polish
Waxed the car using Simoniz paste wax
Full glass clean with Rain X
Full interior claen including glass and vacuum
Dressed the interior & exterior plastic (heaters cleaned out with cotton buds :shout

Nae perfect, but shes looking shexy.

I was properly nackered by the end of day. Several of the neighbours commented that the clean had been taking 'a wee while' Some even followed my lead and started cleaning their own.
