Right, I've been getting some stick at work for the state the Vecs been in - mainly, caked in mud, so decided today was the day to treat her to her first wash of 2011. At least I think it's the first wash of 2011...

First up was a trip to the bin with some rubbish from inside the car. That thing is more or less lived in, so there was quick a bit to chuck out.

Armed with just a jetwash and a lance brush, I applied the Elbow Grease method, gently blasting off the dirt with the Torry Jetwash number 2 power washer, before applying the foam brush liberally to all affected areas. Nothing but dedicated, me.

Alloys were treated with...well, the brush again as it's just a jetwash after all. Much to the annoyance of other users (mostly taxi drivers) and a **** in an R32 who thought red-lining would deter me, I set about removing all traces of grime, before a proper rinse and Gloss Wax finish.

Well chuffed with the results...not bad for about 20 minutes work!

looks shiney even in the dark :) good job

i wouldnt wash a car here atm until the dusty grit from the winter salts have gone a bit more, atm its like a desert in some places

seriously, my neighbour washed his car yesterday afternoon, went to pick up his kid from school 15 minutes later he was back with a car that looked like it had came off an african rally stage

:)

If I had to take my nephew and niece any where when they were younger I always borrowed the folk's car instead of using mine. A 5 minute journey used to be enough for them to make a mess. It's only now they're older I'm happy to let them in the GP although feet get checked first for mud.
