Dad is getting the alloys of his bravo refurbished next week and as he doesn't have a spare set of wheels it effectively means he is carless for the duration. It's just occurred to us that I have my winter steelies in storage up at my brother-in-laws yard so can we put those on the bravo to keep him on the road?

My winters are 185/65 R15 88H from a grande punto and dad is running 205/55 R16 91V on his bravo mjet 2.0 155T. Both have 4 bolts.

We kinda need to know by tonight so that brother-in-law doesn't have to go to the hassle of fork-lifting them down from the shelf and transporting them 15 miles tomorrow morning if it's not possible. Any help appreciated as usual

it "should" be ok, they are the same fitment etc.

The only concern i'd have would be caliper clearance given it's the big sporty bravo, not sure what they run in comparison to others but i think they should be ok

Oh well I guess we'll find out tomorrow when the garage try them. It's worth a shot though especially if it means I won't be on chauffeuring duty :D

Hmmmn, not necessarily a problem though as the car is in the garage getting mot'd today and they'll be the ones swapping the wheels over. I'm sure they can order in what is required

Fiat use 2 different pcd's for 4 stud wheels..? Thats a bit odd..

Every day is a school day :)

No real update on this folks except for a message which was left on my phone saying the car won't be back tonight and nothing else. I'm grateful for all your input and stupidly happy to have to google stuff I read on here again. Technical info is what FS has been missing for a while now so please keep educating me

Bloody grandes :D

Yup, that's me on chauffeuring duty this week however luckily their bus passes will do the worst of it. It has, however, convinced dad to buy another set of wheels for his winter tyres instead of just changing them on the alloys. And as his garage is currently storing the stuff I want to keep from my garden I'm sure I can keep my wheels there too until I actually need them in a month or 2 rather than take them back up the road. Silver linings and all that

Bloody Fiats!

The Bravo was returned yesterday and the refurbished wheels look mint but sadly it's back in the garage as the alternator has now died :(
