I currently have a 02 Punto Active sport 1.2L

Im looking to buy a newer model next year. Anyone got a review for the Grande punto or maybe even the Grande Punto Abarth if I save up enough ;)

Im looking to spend anything up to £5000.

Cheers!

£5k should get you a bog standard 1.2L Grande, that was my budget.... it kinda went out the window though with Dubster :dozey:
I've had my GP since Feb 2011, really good car to drive, esp on long journeys i.e. Ayrshire to Dundee to Aberdeen to Pennan & back to Ayrshire.

Practical enough cars, decent boot (I think) economical, cheap to insure, good on fuel, I normally get around 310- 315 miles on 1 tank (approx £50)

Can't think of anything else wright now, but wouldn't swap/ trade/ sell Dubster for any other car.

Same, now that I have had a fiat I don't want anything else. What stuff did you get with the Dub and GP, like the trim level?

Thanks!

i get that from my 6cyl BMW

ok.... i cheated, it's a much bigger tank :D £50 would get me about 200-220 miles :(

If you're willing to travel you should be able to pick up a lot more than a 1.2 for 5K - abyss's car is a great example of the type of bargain you can pick up if you look around (pay me later Daz ;) )

GP review? don't buy an mjet sporting if you want a boring car that is uncomfortable to drive and gives very poor mileage :)

if you read it steve thats what she says :D

that to me is a sarcastic sentence see it has DONT at the start of it :D

Sarcastic? Me? As if lol

Course the winking smilie on the end of Steve's post could be interpreted as equally tongue in cheek and in reality he finds his car boring, painful and overly thirsty ;)

dunno why he has a prbolem with city driving though 45mpg for me i know many a car that could only dream of that on motorways :D

youve seen 45mpg before so stop whinging ..................

crap i forget the . its 4.5mpg your used to :D
