Andi .. Jacked my car up and undone the nuts .. and guess what .. My wheel ... it came off...

The other 3 wheels come offf without a problem.... gonna see what the weather's like later as it's raining at the mo.
If the weather eases up a bit then I'll get working on Dubster, if not then it'll have to be tomorrow.

turn the wheels so they are pointing out wards then hit the hub with a stell hammer preferably a small mash hammer and rotate the wheel an inch or so everytime redo for about 2-3 rotations of the wheel to crack the rust on the hub if that doesnt work take a screwdriver flathead and place it along the gap of the hub and wheel then hammer it down between the hub and wheel forcing it away from each other this WILL do it if not someone has welded your wheel on in your sleep :)

There's not much room behind the Alloy Daz, but I'll try that though.
As for the wheel getting welded to the hub in my sleep...... did wonder why I could smell hot metal....

it'll be last time i ever drag a welder down to ayrshire, i'll tell you that much :D

You Bastard.... Sabotaging my car :rifle: :sarcastic:

Andi, are you man or a welder..?

Slacken off the wheel bolts half a turn, and take the car run up the road 200mts weaving from side to side. This should loosen the seal.

Jakinson, Hitting it from the outside can be just as good as hitting it from the back. But more so with steel wheels than alloys.

As for the stuck wheel, As mentioned hundreds of times, Jack it up quite high and put it on axle stands (What the hell are they? :laugh :) . Lie underneath the car and using a thick chock of wood rattle it as hard as possible and it will come free.

Turn the wheel front edge out. Loop a rope through the wheel on the outer edge, tie rope to a drain pipe at the side of your house. Jack up car, remov wheel bolts and use power steering to pull wheel off the hub. Simples.
