MOT on monday, and i need to tighten the handbreak as its about 7 clicks and want to get that down to 4 for the MOT. Anyone know how to do this, have jacks etc, but i know that you can tighten a Mk2 and a Bravo's from the inside! So can you do the same for a Punto Mk1???

I'm sure its a case of getting at a nut under the handbrake, and then tightening it! :?

Just checked and yes remove the gaitor and you will see a brass hex nut, bout an inch long, under the handbrake.

just wind this up a bit. but not too much!

if its not under the gaitor then it might be further back in the centre console!
