Well Bank Holiday monday so i was out tinkering about with my car. I had sill protectors on my car until about an hour ago lol i noticed there was some rust on the sill protector and they are stainless steal so im thinking thats not right. take em off and it wiped off :?

So i looked under my car on the underside of my drivers door and the bloody thing has been rubbing against the door and removed the paint and caused it to rust

It is like loads of tiny pin prick sized bits that have stained the paint and make it look huge. it is on the inside so u cant see it unless u are under the car.

what do i do to treat it and prevent it from spreading?

ill fix it for you over the summer seeing as i am the best boyfriend in the world and all that.

Ill need to rub it right back to the metal, use some rust prevention treater, primer, then paint!

Might colour code your handles while im at it

My thing - the list.

Oil leak, dodgy brakes, dodgy power steering. Rust, lots of it.

come to think of it, its a good opportunity to get sideskirts, and paint underneath (the sills) with that underbody paint i have. That will stop the rust!

I did it with my old Punto wen i was putting the sideskirts on and it stopped it
