Mine's is fooked

Anyone have any idea how much i'd be looking at paying to get it fixed?

Dont go to a fiat garage i got quoted nearly £650 for my tempra. :shock:

ainslie garage just off ferry road beside the leisure center, he had to car for 3 days tho, and will probebly park ur car on the street and get dirty as mine did.

i would also say Eastside garage just at Easter Road dont know how much he would charge but when i told him how much i paid for my head gasket he laughed and shook his head so im guessing it will be a bit cheaper :lol: and ur car wont be parked on the street

tbh u could probebly do it urself

buy a torque wrench, socket set, those inverted socket things cant remember what there called, new gasket and hey presto. oh yeh and the timing will need to be done which aint that hard as its all marked out for u

if i had the tools id come to u and do it for u for a few notes but i aint

hes got all that but dont give him any ideas lol

cheers folks, it's booked in at a fiat specialist in leith for tomorrow, so no car for the whole weekend .
He's good at what he does, he changed my clutch and timing belt before in a couple of hours so i've got confidence in him at least and he assured me that the car will be locked up safeley out of harms way over night.

He quoted me 200 plus vat if the head doesn't need skimmed but only an extra 30 quid if it does so not as expensive as i first expected

at least its gettin fixed babe u no am more than happy to drive u about for the weekend u dne it for me when i couldnt drive
