Cage.
I was getting a wee bit wound up about the wee cage that my daughters chinchilla was in, to be stuck in it all the time and was so small, even though it was what was recommended from the pet shop.
Anyway, onto ebay/amazon/Internet sites and looked for something bigger. No luck without spending hundreds of pounds. Then I thought about a parrot cage.. and found a big one for 50 quid new from eBay I think it was. Only thing was that it only came with perches and water bowls which is no good to a Chinchilla.
Off to B&Q for a few bits of planed untreated wood, a piano hinge, box of screws and a strip of aluminium.
