Only one slight side effect though, Arch Gap!

So now have the rear interior of the Abarth for sale, any takers!?

Yep very nice are thoose sabelt seats ?

Not a clue, but I think all fiats have sabelt seats. These aren't leather though, but still comfortable.

Abarth 500s look fantastic in that colour. looking forward to updates :)

FMIC ordered so will update when I get round to fitting. Would need to find out hoses and fitting I'll need, but will find that out when I get round to fitting. Contacted Scars73 and thinking about ordering up some things from them as well from the 290BHP kit

They aren't Sabelts and not all Abarths have them. Those are the standard Abarth seats.

Stunning little car, looking forward to picking up my 595 in about 5 weeks :D

Brian16121990 I think most fiats do have sabelts (could be wrong), just not the sabelts people are looking for. Will need to pull them out and see who the actual manufacturer of the seats are.

Oh, not sure on that at all Scoop.

I know the proper optional Sabelts in leather are a £1200 option, cloth that are in my car possibly £750?
I just spec'd grey leather ones in my new 595, the cloth ones that are in my car also comes as standard on them. You can identify the Sabelts as it says it straight across the area were a head rest normally is and have hard plastic backs.

I thought the standard Abarth seats were made in house, hence the huge price jump for a set of Sabelts even from factory as they are a separate company and manufacturer.

scoop_987 will you be coming to the West Coast rally with the Abarth guys out of curiosity or still making your own way there? :)

The Sabelts are going with the car sadly, think they and the SS kit are the main reason I am getting such a good P/X ;)

Brian16121990 not with the abarth guys, I'm with fiat Scotland. Need to make them look a bit better than the run of the mill fiats

So my FMIC came today, any ideas on what to stencil on it, or just leave it shiny alu?

<<<TOW POINT

lmao, sorry fella, couldnt resist

IMO leave it blank or the fiat badge

Well FMIC is technically fitted, although the slight issue of not ordering enough pipe and clamps (Only because the one I ordered for the turbo to boost pipe was too small). Bumper needs modification to fit properly again as well, along with the sump tray. Ho hum... All fun and games.

On a positive note, the carpet is now removed from the car, and looking at various roll cages. Don't know whether to see about the Biposto roll cage, or get the sparco or OMP one. Decisions, decisions...

Ok, IC is now fully fitted, pictures to come later, along with a guide (and also a full list of required items for the same as my installation). Bumper only need minor modifications, only because I never removed the lower mounting lugs otherwise its on and perfect. Sump tray got dumped, purely because it was broken beyond what I thought it was.

Next thing on the list?

3" cat back system with center exit (along with carbon rear valance to suit rear exit).

Hopefully, after than a TD04 + downpipe to suit and remapped. The Bilstein B14 PSS coilovers and a roll cage. Any more will be listed later :)

Pics will be posted tomorrow as its now too dark to take them :(

Ckem247 VL38 is worse than the one thats on it.

The VL38 is from the Grande T-Jet 120 (Game to 150),
the VL37 is the one I have (Game to 170),
the VL36 from the abarth Grande Punto (Game to about 180)

The TD04... Well...

13T compressor, game to about 230 @ 1Bar (Full boost at roughly 2.8K) (250ish with 1.3Bar) :D
15T compressor, game to about 270 @ 1.5 Bar (Forged internals required).
19T compressor causes stupid lag (Full boost at about 4K) and is worthless unless forged and highlifters, lightened valves, balanced crank, lightened + balanced flywheel. Alternative is TD05-16G when talking about this compressor.

GT2554R will be roughly the same as the TD04-19T/TD05-16G, but costs so much more. However, the lack of a BB cartridge with the MHI turbos makes the garrett that little bit more attractive.
