Right, not much of an update at the minute as trying to get the astra shifted first to free up some cash.

BUT been looking at the GT2554 turbo from Garrett, but I'm not sure what flange is on my mani (Any guesses or proprietary? Currently has FPT/Garrett GT1238Z). Also, water and oil pipes need to modified and the 5 bolt to V-clamp adapter needs to come from america but considering the divided, getting a new center section with the box further forward and the screamer pipe plumbed in behind the box. Don't know how difficult that would be to do the aforementioned.

If i get the Vclamp adapter, a new system @ 3" will be made. Anyone know where to the forged pistons from other than protoxide or TMC?

But wheres the fun in that? My Evo has the same engine, just a different turbo and ECU map, going further though, the Abarth has different front hubs, different suspension setup, and front braking system (bigger) but thats not hard to modify especially that the VXR Corsa brakes are the same size and are much easier to get a hold of :)

The guys and girls that were at the scottish italian car day, you would have heard the new 'zorst on her, need to get a picture for those who weren't :D

Not easy fitting a 2.5" pipe onto a 2.25"... 1/4 of an inch is a huge amount to clamp :) and sorry for those at the back of me unable to drive due to fumes and reek :haha:

Also, not that alot of people noticed, I replace the aerial with a sharkfin variant (Still need to wire the amplifier in though).

Watch this space for major braking upgrade :)

Bloody hell Lewis, fitting a 2.5" pipe onto a 2.25" that's hell of a tight fit....
Gotta admit though I have been tempted by the Shark Fin aerial... but that's in the future at the mo.

2.5" is BIGGER than 2.25" by 6.3mm, how can it be a tight fit? Would be different if I was going to other way or the same size without a form on the end..................

And the Aerial isn't difficult to fit, but mine looks good cause of the gloss black roof.

how is it a tight fit if its a Bigger bore... Confused :p

Reek and fumes... Its not a derv :p

You're right, its not a DERV, its a petrol, I'm surprised that adriano ( Abarth500c ) hasn't commented on the fact that he could hardly drive as he was as high as a kite....
