Been a while since i bought this and i still havent got many pics but here is one teaser for now.

Gsr induction kit,
H&R coilovers currently set to -40mm
de-badged front grill
Roling roaded in 2006 with 137.7 at the wheel, however im running it again on the 14th of jan so we will see how far its dropped.

i want some other alloys and mabee a splitter if anyone has any.....

Looks decent from the pic certainly and that reg does look familiar from somewhere. I think I'm remembering an Abarth that had a similar colour/reg though I remember you saying it'd been on FF an age ago and still had the stickers :D

Still on the lookout for alloys myself (few watched on eBay ;) ), splitter wise you could get the £25 odd LCR splitter like I've got on mine. Just needs some slight trimming (more effectively than I did) and a few self tappers and you're sorted :) Original one's just held on with staples, I had to rip mine off but wasn't fussed as it was damaged anyway :)

pics rob?? been looking for options. i dont mind the standard one, but looking for a newer look lol.

alloy wise im on the lookout but going to get 4 tyres for these and keep a look out.

...only thing is to cover where the OEM one sat, it needs to sit relatively high up on the bumper. No bother from most angles but if you're low down looking back, it doesn't conceal the underside as much as the Fiat one. Of course, this is somewhat rectified by dropping the suspension a bit more ;) :D

Alloys wise, was planning on a set of 18s I saw on eBay but ended up missing the auction finish and the chap managed to sell them elsewhere :( Looking at a set finishing in a few days but doubt they'll stay in budget. Plus I'd need wobblies, spigots and perhaps spacers to make them work depending on the offset. Ones I've got on are okay and the grip's actually acceptable despite the tyres still needing replaced soon.

sweet, actually looks good may need to invest! :p . and can you not keep the standard on aswell?

im swapping the high beam to hid's in the early new year but keeping the running lights normal as i hate dazzlers.

also i dont want wheels above 17s tbh. would love some blades or some new bravo wheels but money dependant :p

in theory, great. not so good in practice though because they take a second or two to kick in, which makes flashing your high beam (for signalling to other traffic etc) a wee bit of an issue

The way the bumper's curved, from memory I don't think you could have both. Given it's screwed on and you have to trim it a bit, you could have a play and maybe make it work. I lobbed a bit too much off the two teeth type bits in the middle of the LCR one, so maybe not as good as it could've been but still an improvement I reckon and sits far enough out to give the desired effect :)

There are some lights on the continent with built in DRLs and a chap on FF bought them. Had an HID kit fitted too from memory but he had to crack them open and make all sorts of mods to them to make them legal for the UK due to the reflectors and such. Looked okay in the end, but think the standards look decent enough anyway...

I did see one on there where someone had opened the rear lamps, sprayed a lot of the inside matt black and put them back together. Pretty effective too, but a fair bit of effort to not damage the unit in the process... http://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/284441-stilo-shoot-custom-rear-lights.htmlWith the wheels, still wanting replacements mainly down to the tyres needing replaced soon but these ones are doing well as winter wheels so not in a rush any more. Agree with the 17s option too, not seen too many about though at a decent price though. Those 18s were just too cheap to ignore, gutted I missed them :/

Grille, I had planned to get the one you've got but couldn't source it at the time. Nearest was a Mattig one in Germany for over £100 (double what I paid for the mesh one) or making it myself using the guide on FF, which I wasn't confident in doing. Shall maybe look into it but the mesh one's not too bad. A bit rusty now though after 3 years odd of being on, which I wouldn't obviously have with the FK.

not a fan of that grille on the red one Rob posted up, seen a few stilos with that grille, think it was an official fiat aftermarket dealer option thingy.....IMO it looks like a plastic tea tray though, the black debadged ones are 1000000x nicer

It was actually the run-out grille, though they didn't even use it on the South American versions if memory serves, so seemed pointless to use it as it didn't even bring it into line with the rest of the Fiat range's styling at the time. Only seen it on 06-plate and onwards from the dealer though as you say Mark, a few have thrown one on there like this chap's with a 2002 car.

Not a fan at all myself, think it looks rather awkward. Most of the other mods he did though were pretty tasteful :)

may take the headlights apart and matt black parts of them. and i agree with the energy saver dim at first properties of high beam however i ALWAYS flash by turning my lights momentarily off as i hate getting quickly 'blinked' lol so it wont bother me, when ther eon there on :p . see how it goes anyways and i have the set lying around so might aswell.

as for the grills venom motorsport do the fk grill for a excelent price!.

rear lights look ok... imo look abit lexus styled and i dont like that. mine are currently tinted to also avoid the fiat lexus styled original look. lol, they will stay tinted for now but could look into split and paint in the future but keeping the reflectors all in .

that really suits the tinted lights :) looks far better on that colour than standard would be

but as Rob says, on the lighter coloured cars, standard looks good :) wouldnt put the tinted ones on a silver car tbh, it's very colour specific what lights work on the stilo

Agree, those tints do look good on your Stilo Steve :)

Also, looking through that Venom site and getting ideas...didn't realise FK Silverlines had dipped below £500, could go 10mm lower than the similarly priced APs would've done

windows arnt tinted mate just the rear lights.

and TBH whole heartedly im running H&R coilovers that could go to -80 and i have them set to 40mm lol. but the ride is amazing. that said the ride in yours last cumbria run was comparable. so if its just the lows id still go for springs and shocks just for price :p

and venom are good for certain cars. price wise atleast. i got all my modding bits for my seicento's from there! :p .

I think I'd just like the flexibility coilovers would give - I could cause sparks to fly if required for example

I'm pretty happy with the Eibach set up I've got, it's just next to some it still looks quite high. Many think it's actually on standard suspension at a glance, which I guess in some ways is a good thing as it certainly doesn't act like that round the corners :D

Venom, yeah does look like a decent online shop. Firmly biased towards VAG though I noticed :p
