Think to be honest mate, I'd only really want/need the front tyres...trying to keep a tight rein on the finances myself  But yeah, when everything's in place PM me email details and such for a Paypal gift payment thing and I'll let you know postage address :)

Aye, Eibach Sportlines are what I'm running and I've got no complaints after 3 years odd. Sometimes come up second hand but not often from what I've seen. Think they'll sting you £120 odd from the place I got mine... http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/ ...hotlinks are terrible on there by the way lol I know Craig had 30mm Apex springs on his 1.6 and didn't have any complaints so they could be a slightly cheaper option. Pi springs... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-STIL...arParts_SM&hash=item4cf72a1683#ht_5905wt_1185 from what I hear aren't the best though admittedly £30 cheaper than Eibachs. These seem quite cheap but I know NOTHING about them lol ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-STIL...CarParts_SM&hash=item2eae18c5f5#ht_1797wt_952

The springs you're looking for though, do they need to be shorter than standard ones? Never ran coilovers before so wasn't sure given the adjustment factor they bring in. Guessing from the range guide on most sets I've seen that they start off shorter than standard and the adjustment compresses the spring more for the desired ride height?

That's just Mental.....
As the old question goes HOW LOW CAN YOU GO?? :stunned:

Well, there was Coyle's on FF a while back, his was a bit lower...

...not entirely sure about the practicalities of that, but looks pretty sweet

yeh mine would do that.

they need to be atleast 40mm i think to allow me to keep the front dropped.

im currently on standard 1.2 springs hahaha and there WAYYYYY up in the sky, coilies raised as high as i can be arsed and still looks lower :p . got 40mm higher to go but im not strong enough and the c-spanner hurts lol.

in other news unfortunatly rob the tyres wont be for sale as i need them elsewhere (sorry) but a set of alloys will be for anyone else??? 16" fiat fit.....

if not they get scrapped at the end of the week ahhahahaahahahaha.

ill update when i get some pics with the CN+ in and the blades!

oh when removing the broken rears i also found out not only had one disasterously snapped at the top but BOTH were already snapped at the bottom.... not visible untill removed but explains the harsh ride in the rear.. it was like concrete, now its like a cloud

Auch no probs mate, the ones I've got on will do for now and when the weather improves, the lack of tread will be even more fun

Shocking about those springs though. I do wonder if there's something about the construction or the coating they put on modern cars that makes them more prone to snapping. My mate's had the same issue on his Laguna and I've heard numerous times about similar failures. At least you found it though.

Good luck with the Connect Nav+ fitting by the way, from the guide it looks...entertaining  Saying that, you've had a lot more experience than me taking car interiors apart :)

Oh and re: Coyle's Stilo, I think that was 100-110. From memory he was running FK's of some description and I thought it looked pretty sweet at that point. Of course, later on he took it too far in my opinion though it did get a mag feature...

...even had a bonnet bra on it at one point which I won't show for decency  Heard he's got an S3 now...

Yeh it was taken far too far lol.

I'm not sure about them snapping but at 6years old and they were gmax I can't really say I'm surprised, does explain the weird pull to one side lol

ok, cars now re-lowered thanks to some un-brandded temp springs :) looks good, blades are on and connect nav+ working fully aswell :) laughing,,

next to do.
new coilovers all around, braces front and rear when they come available and save some cash and get some plates made to get these brembos on the front :)

You going for the OMP braces? Have heard the rear was changed a while back to a slightly iffy design but front's been the same for forever - you need to drill through the metal surrounding the top of the strut. Think I mentioned them earlier, don't know prices but I'm intrigued by UR Braces after hearing some good things on FF. They do lower ones too and I'm assuming the upper ones are better quality than OMP.

Sounds like it's progressing well, car looked good on the FB pics I've seen :)

new pics added later. omp rear as there is one on FF for £20 :) if that goes before i get it ill just make my own with some high quality aluminium, because the rear works in a straight line it will be ok with lighter metal as its not getting bent, as for the front im still looking around, defo going to get a lower one too as it sits quite high up out the way :)
