AFAIK the next Italian show in Scotland will be Cupar at the end of May but there are others down south. Non-Italian I've no idea about

not too sure about shows other than scottish street car which IIRC fiat has never been apart of for some reason. Its all about modified street cars in scotland (Who couldn't work that out? :laugh: ) at Crail and knockhill, not sure where else it is.

We will have a mini meet later on this month in edinburgh/lothian/fife.

Not much of a update. Than i gave my car to a mechanic to fix the leaking sump. He decided it was a good idea to put a bolt back into my suspension of my car that had no threads. But just air gun the nut back on for good measure. Driving along fine. Until later that night when i did a 3 point turn in a road.Ball joint seperates from the wheel hub causing the wheel to damage my wing,Bumper, Door and sideskirt. Not impressed considering the drive shafts are also 2 months old. So i had to buy new drive shaft, track rod end. So now need to paint the side of my car again. Typical!

My punto on my pals tow truck 1:00 morning. Dragging it on damaged my bumper slightly due to how low it is.


Have been doing some detailing on my friends car and neighbours. Machine buff to remove swirls and scratches

Get the mechanic to pay for the Recovery / repaiire?

I agree with James there.
Get the pillock who caused the damage to Elanor, to pay you for his brainless & dangerous actions.

He did it for cash so i didnt have a recipet. I have bought the parts and they fitted them for nothing. After they fitted them i jack the car up myself and checked them to make sure. Cost me around £80 for bits. Painting my car this saturday during the day. Proberly end up still repairing it till late at night. Want it fix for sunday. Got a wing from U-Pull it for £12. So not to bad. Just a bit of a nightmare. Even had to go as far as Ordering Side skirt clips as mine are burst now. Side skirt is also cracked so need to plastic weld it.

Punto head gasket gone. All strip re-skimmed ready to go back together this week. The gasket had a tiny nick in it. Ball point pen size!. Nightmare. Just enough to allow water to get into cylinder 4 causing missfire / white smoke. Here is a picture i took of my car 2 days before the gasket went. Testing out HDR

Might be selling the Silver Punto for a Yellow HGT Abarth?? Any thoughts on the idea? Fancy tracking the HGT or Restore to top quality
