13 speakers - sounds like a Volvo set up 
Odd number of speakers is perfectly fine though, look at most home cinema set ups - 2 stereo speakers, 2 rear speakers and a sub at the front...5.1

I need to work out whether its 11 or 13 and how the heck to wire it all up.
I want to move the sound stage forward a bit but I have a shortage of space for speakers so I need to do a couple of door builds that will miss the window winder.

Yup, can get a 4 inch and a 5 and a quarter in the door either side of the winder, so no need to muck about with lectrix.
Tappet adjustment with the engine running is fun.
Modern light oils gets effing everywhere while you are doing it.
