was thinking about collecting the parts together to get that engine up to full 75 spec again and you said i would need the 75 ecu and code box and stuff dont suppose you know the numbers for the ecu as ive seen a couple only problem is that they just say 1.2 8v not mpi or spi but i think the code i am looking for is IAW 8F.5T

ive spoken to a couple of peeps and can get the full kit for around £50 ,keys ,code box ,ecu
as i think i have pretty much everything else just cant get hold of a virgin ecu

yup noticed

not many updates on this as for a few reasons mainly being the weather and not being able to get hold of my engine

but weather is clearing up and have now been able to get my engine back so hopefully will get back up to this shortly

ok mark you up for this at the weekend bumper is of radiator out of the way all cables disconnected need to drain the oil but need to find out the size of key needed for the oil plug then ill grab one of them and drain it out and than its just engine out

im free all day saturday

for the sump plug, can you get a bolt in it? if so, head in then 2 nuts on it tightened, use bottom nut with spanner to open sump plug, did that trick yesterday on an audi haha

Get an old bolt, measure it against the bottom of the sump plug, file it down to fit.
Then mole grip the bolt & off comes the sump plug.

Oh I'm not saying my way's better Mark, just that's how we had to do that on my Sei.
Need to really get a proper drain plug key thing,as none of my Allen Keys fit grrrrrr

Why not get the proper tool ? 12mm allen key, i have one that goes onto the rachet.

we did think about it

its a 6.5hp engine so will do massive amounts of speed

if anyone is interested or know anyone who might be interested this may be up for sale as the renewal for all my cars have come through and they are now wanting 200 to insure this and im not going to pay that as i only pay 300 for the bravo so i could leave it uninsured in the gare but i dunno so if anyone is definatly interested lemme know i may have the engine in place soon anyway but you know how it stands at the moment
