I'm sure his special toy would be able to get the whole garage, concrete and all to Edinburgh if you strapped it to the back

Might have my own wee new plaything for this weekend if all goes well ;) Just lemme know when you're heading through and we can figure stuff out about everything, Will let you know Martyn :)

Have to agree about Ebay. With Scotland effectively shutting down for 2 days mid-week it's not a risk I'm willing to take. I'll wait and see when you guys can make it up and decide then if it's worth taking a punt with ebay or not.

As has been said Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all possibles as the Rowett doesn't re-open until the 6th so we pretty much have the place to ourselves bar security and the occasional student/chinese visitor. Slackers that's us

That 2nd vid there, it still sounds tappety, im not happy with that like, although it sounded better in person on sat than last time I heard it, I hope that it wasn't a placebo

The tappety sound is just a cam shim out of tolerance. Can get the feeler gauge onto them this weekend if i'm up.

Would actually suggest that if the sound is bugging, we can always just swap Fiasco's cam and shims in for now. Belt needs to come off for the water pump anyway so it's only another 20 minute job in the middle of another one :)

Well from memory, Fiasco wasn't tappety, so if we just shift the lot over, (remind me to bring a pen to number tappets) it'll be fine.

It's not as hot a cam as is in yellow (p75 866 cam).... so it'll lose it a tiny bit of power, but maybe, maybe will have a fractional (positive) effect on emissions. We can measure up the clearances on yellow anyway and number the shims so we can source the correct sized replacement for if we want to refit the p75 cam.

No your right...fiasco was just hooring loud lol.

to be fair, it was so loud there could have been world war three going on under the bonnet and we'd not have heard it

But that was exhaust :) we can check tolerances on both and figure out fro there if it's worth swapping, but i reckon so for now :)

If anything is needed lemme know like I was saying ive got ecp around the corner and upull it on the way up and I can grab from a selection of fiats there

Oh mark the whole german section has been destroyed lol all gone now about 5 bmws left lol
