Keep it up Ming!!

Pissed at the moment... went out to bleed the brakes, found out one of the hoses is leaking at the female end, look like the hose and joint is not done probably. I confirmed this by putting the rubber hoses and no leak, and brake fluid came out the other end as normal.


Will get back to earl for a replacement!

I refitted the hose, bleed it. Everything seems fine no leak what-so-ever. A really weird one But well chuffed .

Today, i changed the plug on the loom to take the 1242 gearbox reverse light swithc plug. The gas pedal was way too high, so refitted the cable found that i hooked the cable too far to the cable and the gomet wasn't in far enough. So is all good now .

Andi, should be alright is almost complete now . No need to return, as not urgnet but feel free to pop up if u want.

No pics at the moment, will do when it rolls out for its first drive .

Next to do, bleed brakes again when the gunson kits arrives, and ring up insurance / book MOT .

WHOOO HOOOO Result!!! Went for a wee drive today, loads of power there . The brakes is rather spongy tho .... but they do work.

Will book the MOT for this thursday!

Hey andy not sure yet! Really need to pass this MOT first.

I am so fooking unlucky, again when for a drive just round my estate. Heard a clunk.. the clips that hold the gear selector cable flew off .............. Luckily i found one kicking about.

Will it tomorrow. Notice there is alot of vibrations in the car, must check all engine mounts again!

Oh well at least you found the Clip, and it wouldn't have been far to push the car home if you couldn't find the clip.

Brother went out for a long ish drive, and he agrees with me that there is some sort of rattling coming from the passenger side and idling not settling down smoothly! so gonna find the problem tomorrow!!

So next on the list, project Delsol (LOL)

check the 2 mounts on the passenger side, indeed they weren't as tight as i like them to be! So tigten them up. Not drive yet to test the affect, as i need to bring a wheel down to get it sorted as it has a slow leak.

Went out for a drive with mum and brother. The car died on me completely. While driving, car just lost all power due to no supply at all.

the battery is definitely dodgy as it is only giving 10v. Will need to investigate of alternator is dodgy too!

Right, is a dodgy alternator and a not working battery light wire.

Changed the alternator and the car is fine now! Really happy . Also tigten a few more bolts up . One more engine mount to go tomorrrow!
