right guys, the admin staff have been speaking about this in the past, and we're thinking of doing the nurburgring in 2011! touching nicely onto the subject or taking a car over. I was all up for taking the Grande sporting with me till reality sank in and got me thinking, what if I crash? could I really put my poor Grande through that? so what I've decided to do is buy another fiat through saving up through all next year! was thinking of getting a coupe for the run over! any other better options?, and no fraz, I'm not buying a 126! lol ;)

A 127?

To be fair when I ran the Modball the Marea was excellent. over 5k in less than a week including autobahn. The closest thing to a problem was on the way back. The guy at Calais getting arsey, because I'd lost a headlamp bulb 30 seconds before I got to his check point.
Road trip like that a VIS 20V and bare foot driving can see some pretty spectacular mpg out of such a car.

well, looking at a bravo, maybe even a marea?? but need the money first for this, so we'll just wait and see if I can get the cash together first! then let the project begin!

ahhh, not good :(

hope its something really easy and cheap to fix!

water into a sensor somewhere?

if its any consolation, my calibra has suddenly decided it doesnt particularly like starting in heavy rain for some reason...might also have something to do with having to drive through puddles so deep it created bow waves at the front of the car though

Not good! The worst I've done in the rain is re-develop a squeaky alternator belt! Touch wood

im fairly confident i know what the problem is with mine, i think its the crankshaft sensor wire is a little loose and some water got into the wiring or sensor itself affecting its signal for a short time. nothing a little time and creative use if insulation tape couldnt bodge should it refuse to start altogether.

its only happened twice and only when its in really heavy rain or has been through standing water regularly on a short drive, so im hopeful my theory is right

its an eco so it'll be coilpack...better look out the wd40 again :D

no probs bud, i was having great fun in the water till it started running off lol

You'll need a 1.8 minimum to match the performance of the GP. End of the day unless your going diesel theres only 1 engine anyone should consider when getting a Marea. 20v. Personaly I'd try get a later one too. with the fly by wire throttle.
