Project Collie-Bra (a.k.a project Calibra)

this saga has long since got boring, the latest car fell through when i went to go and see it. the rear wheelarch was crumbling away and the drivers side rear quarter panel looked like it had been badly repaired.

shame as it would have been something relativley interesting

it was a fiat marea weekend 2.0 20v in black. didn't even have that sick beige interior, it had the grey interior. was pretty gutted when i got to see it tbh, i had big plans for it ;)

i had to stop myself from buying a bmw earlier. the neighbours dariling little brats would have had a field day on daddys instructions because he couldn't get his bus in the parking bay if i had a 5 series beemer out there. pretty much a problem i'll have with any car tbh, my old focus was scratched and had the mirrors kicked off by them as it was deemed too big ffs! so it would probably be 10x worse for something like that.

my last 2 cento's have escaped relativley unscated bar the seis rear wiper because they don't have the size excuse, and they know if i caught anyone touching it, they would be explaining to their daddy just how their bike managed to end up through his busses windscreen.

the search continues :(

my 18 tonne truck is a little bit bigger than their bus if you want me to park it up front for ya mate :D

haha that'd sort them, especially with your liscence to crash and destroy ;)

i was once ordered by them to shift the sei because he couldn't get in the bay (he could and later did, but he couldn't drive straight in like he likes to, reversing was involved), i just told them it was tough luck and it served him right for having blimp. ( i was meaning both the car and his wife ;) )

i nearly bought a ford explorer last week aswell. but was put off by the 20mpg fuel consumption..still, i'd have liked to have seen them mess with that things size, weight and power.

if your parked quite close to another car, he will park with his bumper touching so you can't get out. if he tried it with that i would have just driven over the top of the bus tbh :D

Needed alot more work than what the guy stated unfortunatley, he'd replaced the st interior with a standard ls spec seat set, half the electrics were dead and the exhaust was shot too :(

and i couldn't get it from where it was to a storage place with no mot anyhoo. i was still tempted, but on top of what was wrong with it, my financial sensibility took over :(

i had second thoughts about the bmw today, but missed out on it. my fault entirely, so meh, it wasn't to be!

i've just sent away a few hopefully well placed emails and enquiries, so i hope to end this search very soon....god it's dragged on!!

You thought about getting a Fiat Doblo 1.9JTD Dynamic 105BHP.

Easily Seats 5, or fold the rear seats and you've got a van.

Friend of mine tuned his up, put Alfa Alloys onit, and Tinted the Windows, but he also has:

Fiat Panda 1.3 Multijet, tuned up to 90BHP
Fiat Punto (Not sure what size engine)
Jeep 4x4 Thing
15 Alfa Romeos :slayer:

Found out how to do the Smileys

If you want more performance from your cars then http://www.angeltuning.co.uk/engine-remap/angel-tuning-scotland.aspx

Finally (y)

We need clues as to what you've bought!

clues........

hmmmm,

it has 2 doors, it's a hatchback

can seat 4 adults in relative comfort

sounds like a technical term for someone singing in a large room

and sounds like part of a female sheepdogs underwear for a beach calander shoot :nutter:

Is it a Rover BRM ?

(I thought reverb or echo only matched with the orange gobbed 200, **** quick little cars them!!)

I can't think of anything that sounds like colliebitchg-string. :(

and its frightening to think thats the closest answer we've had so far (y)

i got it today,

The answer is

Vox Hall

Collie bra

10 points to person who guesses where it currently is though!, let's just say things weren't exactly plain sailing....but they would have been sailing very nicely had it rained.....
