:devilish:Flagship Off TMS Looking Gd M8

right, this has turned into PROJECT POWER lol

in the next few weeks i will have a lightened flywheel in, 2.6 clutch, 3.0 cams and maybe a few other bits, so i should be looking at just over 200 bhp and with the new flywheel being 10KGS LIGHTER, the lazy 2.5 will spoolup rapido, watch this space

:O 10 kg lighter ? what was the original weight ?

what is 2.6 clutch and 3.0 cams :p ?

orginial power of the car?

Ming
I'd assume the clutch from a V6 2.6 and the cams from the 3.0 V6 cams. Dunno about original flywheel weight though.

Can't see they cams doing much for your MPG! lol

the standard flywheel weighs as much as a seicento LOL, 15 kgs, and the new billet one is 5.6kgs, clutch from the 2.6 v6 vectra, its a bit bigger friction face than the 2.5 one.

the cams are from a 3.0 v6 omega lump, but msd (motorsport developments, who did the gsi for vauxhall) also put them in the vectra gsi. As for mpg, can cruise at about 40+ to the gallon at 80 mph :D

original bhp is about 167bhp ish

whoop, started today

but because of the rain, there was only internal work done, so got steering wheel and roof pocket from a facelift vec, so far so good :)

EDIT: The weather cleared up, so went to my mates and changed the passenger side door, now just 2 doors to change(due to the dredded rust) and it'll be a near minter again :D

Got the doors headlights, bumper, and wired in the headlights done, thought that was enough work for one day, so went for a game o golf:laugh4:

today, im painting the lightbrows and fitting the radiator cover.

tomorrow is the day that i attempt a cam change (first time) and timing up the engine, so tomorrow is the day that i (should) hit 200BHP :D

here we go, wish me luck, next time you see me i will either be very pissed off or very happy,
