nah, but its needing rear brakes done, gearbox, wiring loom and needs the rust seeing to, all which i cant afford, but means an amalgomation of project power and project cav, if you see where im going with this ;)

LoL Yup yup :) .

Am having similar problems with the yellow cinq :( . Rear arch is rusted to ****! Will cost at least £200 to sort.........

But after changing all the bushes and the rear brakes at the back... can;t really just sell it on! Would be such a waste of my time and money!

Good luck with it :) . Pictures are always welcomed :) .

nice progress

i've been toying with the idea of a vec aswell.....i've seen one i like, but it'd mean selling the calibra, cinq and punto to fund the car and insurance, lol :(

what one have you been looking at? best to get a cdx and put on gsi bits, then you basically got a gsi with climate control. also it will be cheaper on insurance as its a cdx :)

insurance isnt that bad on them i didnt think, im only £300 or so fc and im only 28 (all mods declared)

thats about what i can get the ST for, but after overhearing how the calibra (or "big long boat" as my favourite downstairs neighbpurs call it) pisses them off for being longer than their car, il be keeping it for a bit yet :)

whats the age and condition of the st?

it's on a p plate, more or less completeley standard apart from a few gsi goodies, arches seemingly good etc. pretty sure its got about 8 months mot and a few months tax still. just had timing belt done aparently and has full service history.

i can't remember what st number it is, but i can easily find out, im sure it's 258, but could be wrong. i'll look into it.

as you may remember i was looking at a v6 ST a year or so back, that needed a wee bit work, but looked a bit ropey in certain areas, this ones seemingly far better than that

a grand is strong money, try to get it down to 800 or so ;)

changed the oil and plugs on friday night and fitted another exhaust (god its loud), been to fort william and back this weekend and she never missed a beat, starting to fall in love with her again :D

MOT due....................................3 Months ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oops lol
