Well holy **** dunno about the rest of you but for the 4th time this month I'm stuck haha trees down everywhere water everywhere roads closed everywhere it's just mad I counted 9 trees down on my travels today dunno if I'm getting back now haha

It's not too bad here, lots of trees down all over the place and it was hammering down with rain when I woke up this morning but we've currently got blue sky and sunshine. There's still strong gusts of wind though and the planes are having an interesting time trying to land at the airport. We were watching their approaches at coffee and I reckon a few had to abort and try again.

Had to off road round a downed tree on a stretch of dual carriageway north of Newcastle this morning on the way back from the MOT (pass :) ). If pressed I would have to admit a Panda is somewhat less than optimal for this weather, blowing about like a crisp packet and I was just waiting for those lovely twin sunnies to just peel away and disappear off into the distance. Sounds like you guys got the brunt of it though.

The wee food bin tried to escape yesterday morning but got trapped by the punto. Thankfully the other bins were chained to the wall as they could have actually done some damage to my poor car.

Having said that it wasn't really that bad with us and it was only when I got closer to Aberdeen that the proper gusts hit - just as I was going down a hill and round a corner. It was a real shock and the only thing that saved me from going off the road was that I was stuck behind an old duffer doing 45 mph. If I'd had a clear road I would have been going much faster and I dread to think what would have happened
