whats made you annoyed / sad today

Not enough hours in the day at the moment. Could do with finding an extra week before Christmas hits but it ain't going to happen :(

Oh and my FS sticker didn't survive the recent spell of ice and snow so I'm currently advertising ia sco land.co

Shame the m didn't survive as I could have at least then checked to see if iascoland.com was available and made something up. I as co land... iasco land... could be a new country :D

Ebd and abs failure middle of motorway and a broken nose

You as well? (not the broken nose bit lol)

I'm waiting until after xmas to get this fixed now and if costs me too much what with all the other problems I'm having with her(bearing going, alloys dented through potholes, MOT in april, engine not sounding right cold etc), then she will be offski! :(

And I wont be going fiat again neither.

I know it's predictable but the weather is pissing me off (pun most definitely intended). The car was completely de-stickered last weekend after losing several letters to the cold snap and I need to get the new one on but it ain't going to happen any time soon :(

I'm unsure why you're telling me this. If it's an offer to send it to me I'm even more confused as to why you think I need one although do appreciate the sentiment.

You said that you de stickered the car, as the sticker was missing letters.
And I said that I have a spare sticker somwhere, incase you don't have another FS sticker & you would like one.

Of course I have a sticker. Why the hell would I be posting about being annoyed that the weather was preventing me from putting it on the car if I didn't?

Do me a favour Andi and read my posts properly :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Got a sore throat, a hacking cough and sound like I smoke 60 a day :(

On the bright side though the ice outside has shifted so I should be able to get out for some fresh air instead of staying inside and incubating whatever it is I've picked up

what should have been an easy wee trip to pick up sum wardrobes end with another new tyre on the X3 thanks to a pot hole and a 330mile road trip in two countries albeit Scotland and England to collect all the parts needed.

other annoyance is having bought another tyre due to a pot hole, road tax is due soon and none of it will contribute toward the gov fixing said pot holes.

Alternator's dying (yet again)

It started last week, with a small wining, now it sounds like an F1 car idling when I'm stopped.

At night I now have to do a sequence for the electrics:
Engine on (obviously), build the rpm up to about 2.5k, side lights on, then main headlights, heater, then when I'm moving I can put the demister on for the back windscreen, but if I stop I need to trun the demister off, otherwise my lights dim.

I'm not putting my music on at night now, as I'm trying to save what little power the Alternator's producing.

On Fiat Forum I've seen part of the problem, it's the windscreen drain hose, drains onto the top of the Alternator (well bloody done Fiat).
The sodding hose is somewhere behind the Airbox, which I can't remove. I can remove the 2 bolts that hold the Airbox onto the block, but there seems to be something else holding it on at the back, hence me not being able to remove the Airbox.

Had a new Alternator early on this year (about March/ April), that died, so had another new one under warranty, about October (I think) & had a new belt fitted at the same time.

I'm sure you've mentioned somewhere the bus would only cost you £25 a week, it sounds like you'd be better off ditching the car and sticking to public transport. Much cheaper and, horror of horrors, probably more reliable for you in the long term :)

All through the holidays I've slept in when I wanted to get out of the house early for a cycle.

Today, I'm doing my last gig for a wee while. So I stayed up late late night, played some Mario and hoped I'd get a nice long lie. Not a fecking chnace, I've been awake since about 5.30, with half hour dozes since then.

Balls.

Busses round here are a joke, esp at weekends.
And the £25 was 3 years ago, so prices will have no doubt rocketed.
