Yet again the Daleks are back in Dr Who, I was happy when they got killed off in the episode "Dalek" but for them to keep coming back from extinction is starting to grind my gears. Anyone else feel this way?

Very good point there but I'm starting to think it's becoming lazy and repetitive, there just isn't the variety of creatures there used to be.

they should kill off the writers who have totally ruined them.

Dalek emporer?? WTF??? What has happened to Davros etc.

I was talking to someone about this last week and apparently he got killed off by the Daleks, then they went back and got him. I assume he was killed again in "the last great timewar" along with noone else (everyone appears to have survived it lol)

If you look at Davros throughout the ages he does become more and more like the stereotypical Dalek.

I think the problem is, there one of the best dr who baddies, better than the cyber men etc imho, and also had the ability to travel in time, and seem to have the ability to lay dormant etc for 1000's of years.

So they could be seeded all over the place, i'm sure its no coincidence they keep them alive time and time again with the glimour of hope i have no idea how they reproduce... or if they're grow so dont know how 2 somewhere could become many etc.

Will be another interesting story arc as they always are with the daleks involved. After all some of the baddies are down right pants! Those robots in masks, the dalkeks pig goons.

But its not a serious sifi, its spoof tastic it always has been, even the daleks could be foiled by throwing your coat under them and shoving them down a lift shaft. Of course they seem to be one of the few to recognise the doctor and fear and revere him, his nemesis throughout time.

Also through inaccuracies in Doctor Who plotline there are 2 different kinds of Dalek.
1 a living being in a mechanical tank type thing.
2 actual robots.
Although these may have been cleared up in the all new Doctor Whos. I havent watched it since Sylvester McCoy was the Doctor.

Don't you love it when you read through one of your own posts and realise how sad you are!

I thought all Daleks were radiation poisoned Kaleds (see what they did there) who were engineered into Daleks to defeat their ememies on Skaros or whatever the homeplanet is called.

McCoy was the Doctor I used to what as a lad, I can't remember if there were Daleks in his programmes.

I think the newer ones are very watchable, especially in today crap schedule of relentless reality television show.
