Bloody hell that was strange, just been out for my first drive, and well im rusty as a rusty thing :? great to be behind the wheel again, but my god its going to take some getting used to again! Got that feeling i had when i was first allowed to drive legally! :D

I hate to think what I'm going to be like - although for a wee while yesterday, on the bus to work, I was thinking about where I'd be selecting gears etc. I still think I'll be rusty as hell but hey ho. One month, one week to go. :smt024

Its bizarre because i have to conciously think about driving now, selecting the right gear, clutch control, observations and of course the main one speed......

Im sure in a few days it will all feel natural again.

Yeah it will all come flooding back to you in a few days im sure.

Must be loving the ability to just jump in the car to work or even if you just want to go down to the supermarket you no longer need to plan how/who is going to get you there.

You still got the Puma yeah?

Yup certainly do, its running sweet as a nut just now too, i had it serviced just before i lost my license, and also had its mot last week.

Looking at something new though

Well, rather than open a new thread thought I'd ressurect this!

Adam - point taken - christ, the first drive is weird as hell! I didnt venture much further than holburn street, will save the proper run until tomorrow. Got a list of things I need to do to te car, but spied a Punto active sport for much cheapness online..the possiblity is there guess.

Martyn, I spied a cheap X plate Punto for sale down here in the local paper. Advertised at £950 which means gettign it cheaper than that! And obviously a Mk2 as well...let me know if you want me to go check it out for you!
