We have a 1.9JTD ELX punto needing 2 new tyres. Currently has 185/14/60s.What are my options? Whats recommended, make or size?

all depends on wat sort of grip u want

i have 185/55/14 on the gt

my bet would be to go with firestone feulsavers

they are a very good all round tyre and last for ages because they are hard rubber

if u want more grip in dry and wet go for goodyear or toyo something like that

GoodYear Eagle F1s...I really can't fault them!

except from that they wear down quite quick because they are kinda soft...and they SUCK in the snow!:lol::lol:

But they really are great in the wet and dry!

Yeah and Lynz got in the Ka and got up no bother!

Toyos are great, I have them on the coupe, but they do wear quickly. Whats the width range I can play with? eg coupe is 205 std but I run with 225s. Does this mean I can fit 195 or 200s to the punto?

You could probably run 195s but I don't think it would make any difference to the handling or grip.
Even if it did you're unlikely to notice it.
