Time to get the rattle tins out on an old dreamcast case, I reckon.

Got some ideas for this one, at the moment its in the early coats of paint.

Well, first of all thanks to @Mrcento - got the spare case from him at Hopetoun last year. That's what you see in the pic above

Also cheers to @Ryanfaescotland. Headed over to his this afternoon and we sat and changed over the inner workings of the old dreamcast into the new shell. Powers up and plays fine

Gotta do the controller next and eventually replace the internal batter and might use that as an excuse to change the LED.

Onwards and upwards

I really can't believe what a good finish this has got on just a coat of paint and a bit of sanding, looks great. What an improvement over the original yellowing plastic.

Yip - huge improvement.

Controller is currently drying after it's 2nd/3rd coat of Sonic Blue. Got some changes to make before that gets fully rebuilt though Watch this space.

Fairly happy with this - again, a few wee imperfections but easily rectified.

Now just waiting on a faulty Xbox 360 controller arriving and then the fun begins
