Just spend the last half hour jumpin, drifting and spinning my way about an open course in Ken Blocks rally spec fiesta :) i love this game x
 
Only played demo's of the previous two, looking forward to perhaps downloading a demo of this one if the PS Store ever reappears :laugh:

Loved the old version of the Colin McRae games, still too caught up in GT5 and other games I haven't bothered playing yet though to contemplate buying another really. And I haven't even bought LA Noire yet :laugh:
 
i love all my racing games, completed the first 2 dirt games, most realistic ive ever played is Test drive unlimited 2 on the 360, the hole of ibiza and hawaii to cruise in supercars like the veyron :) took me half an hour real time to circle the full map its thats extensive x

Same man, though never been an XBox fan. Acquired an original XBox a month or two back for nowt but always been a PS guy so pretty much Gran Turismo all the way. Loved GT2...drift machine that was the Impreza 22b was amazing. That and the 700hp+ 4dr R33 Skyline GT-R or the 210hp Nissan Micra Super Turbo :D

PS3 wise though, I've got Burnout Paradise I've barely scratched the surface of. Seems really good from what I have played of it, but haven't had the chance to get into it - got all the previous PS2 versions though going back to 2.
 
The gp's acctually in dirt 3 in the very first race you do :)

See i always had a ps2 and played every gran turismo game to death but i think the switch over to xbox was deffos worth it, the racing games just seem to perform a lot better, especially forza 3 :) have to say never had the chance to play GT5 so need to get sum1 with a ps3 to let me have a go x

My only issue with the XBox is the controller. I'm sure there's ways to customise it, but I just find it incredibly awkward. Maybe I'll warm to it after playing a few games on the original :)

GT5 though has a good number of issues. It's far from perfect and probably not worth the wait but it's still a brilliant game to play through :) Just glad I didn't pay full price for it though :laugh:
 
yeah original xbox controller was a pain, i find the 360 a lot comfier and even better than the ps3, fits just nicely into your hand :)

games will always have issues though, if they didnt theyd never need to release a new version every year or 2, but i highly recommend you get a shot of test drive 2 :) a wee youtube search would have you drooling at the sight of the game x

Think it was PGR3 I played on the 360 and couldn't get to grips with the way the controls were set up. But yeah, think some experience and customising them would make me like it more. Played Forza in Gamestation a while back for example and enjoyed it :)

Best thing about Test Drive 2 as well - it's not a 360 exclusive :laugh:
 
Steve- i wouldn buyt dirt 3 purely for the gp, its only in it for about one race then you move on to faster cars :(

Yeah ive got all the PGR games they can be difficult with the way the cars handle, im pretty sure Test Drive is a 360 exclusive game? i could be rong though x
 
Oh yeah ma bad, ive never seen it on PS3 before, when it was first released i was sure it was xbox only aha x
 
I couldn't even say what games I have.. I know I made a wee list last year somwhere on the forum....

Bought Dirt2 when it came out & nver got round to playing it.
Recently bought Motorstorm Appocalypse & haven't gotten round to playing it yet.

Also bought a few DVD's & again just haven't got round to watching them.... I blame this site, pulls me in for hours everynight.
