Car is giving codes that totally don't make any sense. Had battery disconnected all night and didn't do anything.

Re: Help !

Hi.

Do you have access to the fault codes that the ECU is storing..

These items are covered well in the 500 section..

Somehow your post is appearing in

FIAT Scotland

The 45' temperature rules out anywhere in the UK's north..
Thanks FiatCanada thanked for this post

Re: Help !

Still fighting with computer.

Will run for few days then goes crazy with codes.

Have saw just about every code a Fiat can throw.

Bought a $250 scanner just to keep up.

Problem is car is manufactured as a Fiat, then flashed as a Chrysler. Yes in Canada I drive a Chrysler that has Fiat badges !

Thinkin next step is getting someone to go to scrappers in UK and mail me over a Fiat computer for my car !

Someone get me price on that pls.

Which device..

Engine is 1.4 .. probably different

Body : car is 200kg heavier.. so quite possibly different too

Although quoting the No's from your scanner will help

Re: Help !

Problem with the codes is my car has so far given me 75+ codes !

The most random useless codes.

Need to replace the ecu behind battery 1st.

Biggest pain in the ass is the can E off, can't find anything about it.

Can C also comes up o and also can A.

Thinkin of gettin a exorcism done. Am a minister but not the exorcism kind lol.

Re: Help !

The best code that my 500 gave me was the one that referenced a manual transmission problem !

Mine is 6sp automatic !
