Hello colleagues of Fiat!
I'm not an electrician nor mechanic, I'm a physiotherapeut (completely not related) but i love my Fiat, that's why i wanna install a dashcam, reverse dashcam, parking sensors and maybe more in the future.
So my question is: how can i use all of them and not occupy my cigarette lighter? Can i solder the cables behind the dashboard? What cables and where?
When i turn off my car everything goes dark (my cd player excluded) so i can direct connect them and not use my battery, it's safe to make that idea of soldering the cigarette lighter cables.
My car is Fiat Punto 1.2 16V 2001 Mk2 188model.
I'm new to this... "tuning" or more likely maintaining /maintenance of my car. My back got wrecked by an idiot, had to wait 3 months for my assurance and in that time i decided it's time i take care of my car, and make it perfect for me and do almost everything myself. I don't trust my local mechanics, they repair one thing and destroy 2 other...
