Firstly, my flexipipe is cracked on my exhaust and will need changed soon. Is the flexipipe part of the cat or just an extra bit of pipe?

Secondly, can anyone recommend somewhere to get my windows tinted?

Thirdly, what is better for lowering your car if you want to keep it. Shocks and spring upgrades or coil-overs?

Sorry for being a bit of a pest with this stuff just like to get a second opinion on stuff

coilovers is cheapest option anyway on the grande mine cost me 200 with free delivery and fitting is a piece of **** if you can get the top mount bolts off :D
window tints easy option to try is place an add on gumtree for someone to do it as ive found the window repair guys will do it as homers :)
the flex in most options wont be part of cat as that would make a huge waste of cost so it should just be a flexi pipe replacement but not 100% on it

had a quick look and it seems the whole centre section is the flexi not the cat

Or if you are really that skint, get a welder to weld a new piece of flexi on for you :)

would probably cost just as much buying a centre piece than welding a new one one :)

39.50 with free delivery on ebay
for a new centre

What a stupid design for the exhaust!

Not really that bad... My sporting is actually a single piece when fitted at the factory so if, say, the backbox was to fail, I'd have to buy a center section and back box as I'm not very good at cutting. However, I don't have to worry about that anymore cause the noisy punto has a nice shiny stainless system. :)

When it got a service I was told that the felixipipe was starting to crack and there would be a hole on it shortly. So as long as its just part of the centre then I will just get a stainless centre and back box fitted. What kind of coilovers did you get for £200? Everywhere I have looked so far they have been roughly £600 with an exception of a set for £400. I shall try the gumtree method for the windows closer to the time that I shall get it done. Cheers guys

look on ebay :) the coilovers are still around 200ish too, think they are called blueline or something, seemed decent quality, certainly better than the standard Fiat/GM shocks which ruptured when undoing the top mounts

Yeah there is blue line and FK automotive at £200 and £230. Just the price throws me a bit. Why are they that cheap compared to others. Dont want to get them if the cause me nothing but bother. I take your word for it though man and look to get myself a set in the near future.

Just looked at the blue line set there and they are two coilovers and two lowering springs. Found a set by Hot tuning thats £224 and thats all 4 coilys.

Nope, you can't put proper coilovers on the rear without major re-engineering, it'll be basically lowering springs with adjusters, just like the other set are.

The shock and spring are seperate at the rear on grandes,
