Update, car IS getting fixed and should be sorted in two to three weeks.

the total cost is £2000 for the total cost of repairs, and I've been checking insurance renewals and only £350 fully comp with no no-claims and an accident!

Shows how much it costs though if you do it through insurance...could probably do it at a fraction of that price if you did it yourself.
