Just a wee thought guys - I've been in contact for the last few days with a reputable supplier of induction kits.

Very simply, would there be anyone here interested in having a professionally made induction kit for their car? I need an idea of what cars these would be popualar for - 1.4TJet, 1.9MJet and 2.0 MJet have all been suggested, I also indicated that some of the Cinq/Sei/Punto guys might be interested for the 1142 & 1242 blocks.

These would be quality kits, complete with instructions and support from a highly reputable company (custom made by ITG) with excellent communication and no waiting lists.

Prices are not confirmed yet but normal silicone will be not a huge amount more than GSR, the alluminium and carbon fibre will cost more. Accurate prices can be obtained once we've an idea of interest (cars and numbers)

If you're interested at all put your name and your car/engine below so I can pass on an idea of numbers. Any questions please ask away and I'll try and get them answered promptly (y)

Cheers,
Martyn

Think they would throw in a random alfa one? as far as I know its almost he same engine as the jtd stilo?

Ill keep an eye out for prices :D

i'd be concerned about the price tbh, the fact they are saying not a huge amount more than a GSR.

Imo GSR's are fairly pricey as it is, but the cento ones for the spi in particular are proven products....i suppose you do get crap service though ;)

TBH, i wouldn't pay more for an untested product for my car when there is a cheaper, tried and tested product that unbiased cento owners say is a good kit.

That said, if i got more details on the kit etc and i liked what i saw, i may be tempted...i dont know what engine it'll be for atm though, so put me down as a maybe

More details will follow I'm sure and who knows, they might even end up cheaper than the GSR 'equivelant'

I think it's worth at least investigating (y)

ITG use foam filter elements and are quite restrictive from what I know of them..:book:

For anyone interested: http://www.itgairfilters.com/

Pandaman - looks like you're right, foam elements but whether or not their restrictive I couldn't possibly comment.

I am assured these are top quality kits. I must stress nothing is set in concerete here, but once we can start to get an idea of who's interested and numbers of cars we can get an idea of price! Obviously if we have, for example, five orders for the grande punto then the prices will no doubt drop!

I would be interested but only if the kit supplied was everything I needed, as opposed to the other kit I bought recently which had no way to fix it properly over the 1.2 8v's oddly placed engine. :p

I believe mounting brackets would be part of the kit! I can double check though, but I'd imagine they'd be included

Perfect! Also, hate to topic-jump, but have you read your pm about the higher-rez image? :p
