anyone know if a petrol ignition switch will run a diesel. some nice person broke into my van and nicked the plastic switch part from the ignition. checked the eper and found one of the listed switches for a fiorino is no longer available.no money on which one i will need !
so can i use any diesel switch or any petrol one ,say an uno ?

Have they left any of the electrics in situ if so the easiest thing is to take a photo and compare with an uno or punto down at the breakers. Remember that the fiorino seems to be an amalgamation of what was left on the shop floor at the end of the day. I am finding lots little items from the punto diesel fit on 1998 onwards models.
