Hi all, I am looking for a replacement bolt for my 1981 Fiat 127 Fiorino.

Photos below. It is one of three that hold the air box lid in place. I have searched on ebay and the web but cannot find a replacement.

hi, has it fallen out.. or become damaged,

options are ;

1, find the part No. then google for a replacement,

2, use a standard bolt.. glue/ fix in place

3, use machinery to modify a standard bolt to the correct profile..,

where are you / the vehicle based..??

Hi, thanks for taking the time to reply. I am based in DA15 (Sidcup, Kent).

I will keep looking online. If I havent found one in a couple of days I will glue a bolt in place.

Oooo what are they called on eBay?
I think you will be able to file one of the heads to shape required.
Good find.

I ended up having to re-tap the carb because the old threads didn't hold the threaded bar (which the airbox secures to) in place. Cut the heads of some M6 bolts and screwed them into the new tapped holes.

The bolts I bought off ebay to hold the airbox lid in place didn't fit so needed some filing down and a bit of gentle persuasion to fit in the square recesses.

Happy with how it ended up. Hopefully someone will find this useful.
