Hi Guys,

I have a Fiat Fiorino 20101.4 Petrol. When starting the van after leaving over night, the van starts straight away. Then when the accelerator peddle is pressed it cuts out. Once left ticking over for a few minutes it runs perfectly all day.

I've had two different mechanics carry out diagnostic testing and no faults come up. They then changed the spark plugs and temp sensor to no joy!

They now think it is the MAP sensor.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Daniel

Hi. Its possible.

Diagnostics shouldve shown the various Temps that the ECU is seeing.

Errors should be obvious..

Sorry Charlie you've lost me. I'm not mechanically minded. Could you explain in simpler terms please?

hi Dan,
when you plug in a laptop to the cars diagnostic port.. you can scroll through to see what the various sensors under the bonnet are reporting,

IE . on a typical UK summer morning if it says the air temp is above 30' ..or below ZERO .. you'll know it's an error,
same applies with the coolant temp .. should be @20' COLD or 80' when showing warm on temp gauge.

MultiECUscan is what I use, ;)
