Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm from Romania and i own a Fiat Fiorino 1999 1.7 td . It's sitting in front of my house for a couple of years because i didn't used lately. Recently i tried to start it but it turns out that the fuel pump is not working...at least the electrician says so. My question to you is : if i don't find a fuel pump just like the one on the car, what pump i can fit in ?

Could be that the fuel pump in the fuel tank is the problem ?
Please help

is the pump in the fuel tank / rear of car?

or

next to engine / front of car?

the injection pump is in front with the engine and the fuel pump is in the back with the fuel tank. the injection pump seems to be the problem. sorry for my english .
from what i've read on the injection pump it is a Lucas model and the car is 1999 fabrication year

I would start with changing the fuel filter first, and see what happens.
