hi, my partners grandad has just bought a fiorino 1.7d pick up on a n reg, he asked me to have a look at it as he thought it needed a new wheel bearing, anyway i pulled the hub out and the wheel bearing was in bits, only problem im having is the centre of the hub has worn where it sits inside the bearing, does anyone know if a hub off any other fiat will fit it? i was thinking on the lines of a punto or something as they will be easy to find in the scrapers

You have to buy a new original Fiat one I'm afraid, Fiat Brazil made a lot of parts different...
I just changed one of the hubs on my car, it was about 80GBP ( 100 euro's).[/QUOT

 how much??? think ill phone around some more scrapers first to see if anybody has one. my partners grandad only paid £170 for the pick up and thats tax and tested, he will of doubled that if he has to pay £80 for a hub and then what ever it cost for new wheel bearing and probably new track rod end cause the bolt always spins when you try tightening them back up. bargain all of a sudden is not a bargain anymore(n)

Well, see it the other way:
The Brazilian designed and made Fiorino Pick-Up is as rare as any model Ferrari..!!
In Holland, where I live, only 252 Fiorino Pick-Up's are sold between 1988-1998, about 50 survive today...!
As your version is specially made for right hand driving, it is even more rare...!!
Last mont I put a new timing belt+ bearings, new brake disc's and pads, new brake cylinders, lower controling arms etc. on my '93 Pick-Up, totall was about GBP800...!!
Next week I'm going to install new steering rods ( to much play to my liking) and than I have to go to a specialist for a alignment job...another Gbp 200 I guess...!!

Your pickup sure gets treated well Peter. Cant afford to lavish that much money on my old Van! ;-)

Worth it for that exclusivity value. I thought it was rare enough just to have a Fiorino!!! Almost never see one round my neck of the woods. Plenty of those citroen C15 things though!!
