Hello everyone

I am recently new owner of a 2013 Fiorino adventure that I'm having some electrical issues.

If someone could point me in the right direction would be great.

Randomly if I use the indicators, windscreen wipers, full beam or flash the lights the engine will cut out. It will not restart until the wipers go back to the resting position. Sometime the wipers will work fine.

Ive had it plugged in and the faults which were number plate lights, left or front side lights, left direct indicators, Inertia function, fuel pump relay command, start up relay command, can line, no communication with airbag control, convergence node and a few more.

When you clear these codes its all fine until it has another event and it brings back many codes.

I have checked the earth from battery to body to g'box all fine but everyone keeps telling me its a ground fault under load.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Wow, thats a whole heap of messed up faults showing. Electrical/earth fault almost certainly, but where to start !!! Hope another member may have some ideas, good luck. Cheers Qube O.

Does anyone know of where all the ground points are on the body please.

I’ve checked between battery terminals (12.8v), battery positive terminal to engine (12.8v) and battery positive to body (12.8v) so no drop there.

The negative terminal has a quick release terminal. Could it be that this is not making a good connection or has any heard if this is a commonly replaced part.

I did find one ground point to the left of the ecu in engine bay directly above the engine in the middle of the scuttle panel.

I would imagine there will be others as there is a lot of wiring under the dash where the fuse box is there could be earths under there as well !!!!

Its been a while but id only now got someone to sort the problem.

In the engine bay behind the washer bottle from inside the inner arch there was a bunch of earths bolted to the body. From the factory the bolt had been cross threaded and all the earths from engine ecu etc were barley making contact even though the bolt felt tight.
Made a new connection and point and everything is perfect.

Hope this may help someone in the future.
